EmBRACe BRAC San Antonio

Today Military officials, Judge Nelson Wolff and I announced the launch of the emBRACe BRAC San Antonio public awareness campaign at Fort Sam Houston's historic Quadrangle Mall. This city initiative is aimed at creating local awareness of opportunities presented by the federal Base Realignment and Closure.

I hope you'll join me over the next couple of years in welcoming our new neighbors to this great city. Our east side neighborhoods will provide wonderful communities for military families to live and raise families.

We have billions of dollars in continued economic benefit to look forward to and I will be working closely with military officials to maximize the impact of BRAC in our district.

For more information on BRAC related jobs and business contracts visit www.embracebrac.org.

Sincerely Yours,

District 2 Councilwoman Ivy R. Taylor

I appreciate being kept informed by my city council Rep very much. If that trend continues, she will benefit from an informed electorate who will respond when it is necessary to situations/issues that impact our lives. Also the communication from the constituients must be embraced by Ivy also to get the whole picture.
